With the Capital one cup above, we head into Fridays action. We kick off in Germany where Bayern Munich kick off their season after accumulating 21 clean sheets last term and will aim to get off to a winning start. Bayern’s game is best 8/11 for both teams not to score, but at home, we expect the disciplined side to keep a clean sheet and win to nil. The 2/13 outright is a near certainty, but Ladbrokes go 9/10 Bayern win to nil, with the same outcome just 4/7 elsewhere. This is our lock up single of the day.

We must apologies for the faux pas with the Gasquet bet in Thursdays column. Those that missed out, we will include Gasquet again for those missing out and will back Wigan at home in the super league to double up for a 13/10 return at Coral.

Recommendations:

  • Bayern Munich to win to nil  – 9/10 Ladbrokes
  • Gasquet (Tennis) and Wigan (Rugby League) pays 2.30 at Coral

Midweek betting – Tuesday

We enter the midweek zone with plenty of sporting events to bet with, including the Champions League and Europa League football wise. ATP Montreal is upon us and quarter final Cricket T20 are the highlights.

Gilles Simon faces Nikolay Davydenko in Montreal where Davydenko beat Simon in their last encounter. In the seven times they have met, Simon has won five of the seven and after tasting defeat in the last encounter, Simon will be seeking revenge. Milos Raonic faces Jeremy Chardy in another game with Raonic winning the only meeting between the two and is good enough to make it two from two. Milos is 19/17 to win in straight sets, and bookies take no chances, where the last meeting ended 2-1.

The experienced Tommy Haas has the strength to see off David Goffin in straight sets, which is a stand out 4/6 with Paddy Power.

Partick will look good to brush visitors Ayr out of the League cup this Tuesday night and have remained unbeaten in the last five meetings and will want to make it six. Lyon hold a single goal lead, which is not enough in their Champions League qualifier and can go to Swiss team Grasshoppers and yield at least a draw to go one step closer to the group stages.

Recommendations:

Milos and Simon win double – 2.21 888sports

T Haas to win 2-0 over Goffin – 1.67 Paddy Power

Partick to win in Scottish League cup and Lyon win or draw – 2.02 Bet365
